At Mountain Pointe, Sunnyside owned the field in the second half of the non-region game.

• Highlight reel: After a 7-7 standoff at halftime, the Blue Devils scored on a safety when a long snap went over the head of Pride punter Ben DeMarr in the end zone. A 19-yard pass from Sunnyside quarterback Jesus Vega to wide receiver Billy Gonzales earned the third-quarter score.

• Player of the game: Sunnyside running back Manny Aguilar carried the ball 17 times for 120 yards, including a 20-yard run.
